Full Mandatory / Additional HMO licence application including Fire Risk Assessment

Initially we will discuss the property (or properties) and establish what type of licence you need. We will carry out a full inspection of the property and highlight any compliance issues for you to consider. Advice will be given about all regulations surrounding HMO licensing to ensure that you comply with the law. We will let you know the council’s licence application fee and highlight any discounts available. A full detailed floor plan (with room sizes and facilities clearly noted) will be included within this package. A Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) will also be included within this this package. You will also receive a HMO information pack with useful information that can be supplied to your tenants.

We will then prepare the licence application together with the notification forms that must be sent to all parties.

The Council will then send you a draft licence and give you 14 days to comment on the terms and conditions before the full licence is issued. If you have any concerns regarding the draft licence then we can prepare a written representation for you as part of our fixed price.

Price on application. Prices vary depending on size and type of licence that is required. A full estimate will be provided on application.
